EARSS is a not-for-profit organization created to provide logistical support, training, and technical assistance to coordinate voluteers and donated materials as requested by state and local emergency management agencies in preparation for and response to disasters. EARSS is currently operated by a small group of volunteers and is funded with individual contributions and donations that are tax-deductible.
